Russian forces may significantly intensify their shelling of the Kherson region following the ceasefire. During this time, the occupiers have replenished their stocks of weapons and ammunition and prepared for new attacks.

This was reported by Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, during an appearance on “Yedyny Novyny.”

According to him, Russian units have reinforced their supplies, specifically receiving provisions, new weapons, and ammunition for them.

“The Russians have prepared very well for the next wave of terror. We see that they have reinforced their units with both provisions and new weapons, as well as all the ammunition needed for those weapons,” Tolokonnikov said.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration expects that, as a result, Russian shelling may intensify. The official also warned that the last month of fall and the winter period will be difficult for the region’s residents.

“The Russians are continuing their terror campaign and will most likely escalate it,” he emphasized.

Tolokonnikov urged residents of the Kherson region to be mindful of the security situation and evacuate from dangerous areas.

As previously reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration, over the past 24 hours, no reports of Russian drone activity or strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure facilities were recorded in the Kherson region.

The ceasefire is set to last until 10:59 p.m. on November 1.
