For the second time in four days, Odesa Mayor Ihor Koval has appointed a new director of the Municipal Service of Communal Property of Odesa City Council.

The announcement was made by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

On April 16, Serhiy Symonenkov was appointed director of this municipal enterprise, and on April 20, he will be replaced by Valeriy Safronov. He resigned from his position as deputy director of the municipal enterprise Bureau of Technical Inventory of the Odesa City Council.

In this declaration, Valeriy Safronov indicated that his wife became the owner of a 144.3-square-meter country house in Ukrainka village, Mykolaiv region, on February 6, 2026. She also owns an apartment in Odesa with an area of 87.6 square meters. Valeriy Safronov, Olga Safronova and Artem Safronov also own an apartment in Odesa with an area of 57.8 square meters.

Valeriy Safronov drives a 2015 Honda CR-V car. His wife owns 10 thousand shares, but the declaration does not specify which company and how much they cost. The family income consists of Valerii Safronov's salary at the BTI - 190.2 thousand hryvnias, his pension - 40.2 thousand hryvnias, cashback - 4.5 thousand hryvnias, and his wife's allowance - 27.1 thousand hryvnias. The municipal institution "Municipal Service of Communal Property of Odesa City Council" is engaged in: inventory of real estate of non-residential property owned by the territorial community of Odesa, control over the use of non-residential premises by municipal enterprises founded by Odesa City Council, and submits proposals to the mayor, the city council and its executive committee on the expediency of using such premises by municipal enterprises.

It is also responsible for automotive, technical support and maintenance of administrative premises, computer and office equipment, and other equipment on the balance sheet of the Department of Communal Property of Odesa City Council.
