The State Property Fund sold a grain storage facility in the Odesa region for nearly 6 million

A state-owned grain storage facility in the Berezivsky District of the Odesa Region was sold at an online auction for more than double the starting price. Five bidders competed for the property, and its value rose by nearly 3.3 million hryvnias during the auction.

This was reported by the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

The single-property complex of the state-owned enterprise “Grain Depot No. 77,” located in the village of Ivanivka in the Berezivsky District, was put up for sale.

The starting price for the property was 2,445,250 hryvnias. Five bidders participated in the auction, driving up the price. Ultimately, the winning bidder offered 5,725,000 hryvnias—more than 2.3 times the initial price.

The auction winner must also pay 20% VAT on the final price. These funds will be added to the state budget.

The State Property Fund noted that the new owner will be able to use the complex for various business projects. In particular, it could be used to establish a manufacturing facility, a logistics or warehousing center, a facility for storing or processing agricultural products, or another commercial facility.

Meanwhile, the regional branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) sold at auction a recreation center in the resort town of Zatoka, Odesa Oblast, which had been on the regional administration’s balance sheet. A fierce bidding war erupted over the property—the final price exceeded the starting price by more than three times.
