The editor of the newspaper Khliborob Lyubashivshchyny, Anastasia Oliynyk, announced that the publication would be suspended due to financial difficulties.

The editor thanked the readers for their moral support, according to Pulse of Odesa Region.

"Dear subscribers and fans! Unfortunately, the time has come to officially say goodbye to our native newspaper. Believe me, we have been trying to survive for a long time, but we could not do it without financial support," said Anastasia Oliynyk.

Anastasia Oliynyk, born in 1954, is a professional journalist who graduated from Ivan Franko State University of Lviv in 1978. She has been working in the editorial office of the Lyubashivka newspaper Khliborob since 1971. She was a literary worker, head of the letters department, and executive secretary. She has been the editor of the newspaper for 29 years. She is a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. She was elected to the Lyubashivka District Council and is currently a member of the Lyubashivka Village Council.

This is the second former district newspaper in the Odesa region to send its last issue to its subscribers, as NovynaR, which was published in Rozdilnyansky district of Odesa region, sent its last issue on November 30, 2024.

In September, the Grad TV channel, founded by Anatoliy Balinov , a former deputy of the Odesa City Council of two convocations, stopped broadcasting news. In 2019, Odesa-based TV companies Grad and Art (Channel 7), which were broadcasting on analog air in Odesa at the time but did not have digital licenses, won the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting's tender for two free places in RRT Concern's digital multiplex in Odesa at 27 TVCs.

At the end of August, the Odesa-based online media outlet Ukrainian Information Service (USI), which was part of the same media holding as Channel7 and had ceased operations on September 1, reopened. But it has not resumed broadcasting. "Channel 7 is a digital, terrestrial and cable TV channel. The channel has been broadcasting since 2014 under the ownership structure of LLC "Television and Radio Company "ART" and LLC "RIAC-Inform".
