The SBU has notified the head of an illegal agricultural committee in the Kherson region that he is under suspicion

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Security Service of Ukraine has notified a man of his status as a suspect; he assumed the position of the so-called head of the “Opora Rossii” agricultural committee in the Kherson region, in the occupied Kherson region. He is accused of collaboration and justifying Russia’s armed aggression.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

According to the investigation,Pavlo Kim, a native of Uzbekistan and a stateless person, assumed a position in the occupation administration following the occupation of parts of the Kherson region (Henichesk and Skadovsk districts) and became the director of “Rassvet” LLC. 

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In this capacity, he appeared in a video report on the “Zov Kherson” online channel marking the opening of Putin’s campaign headquarters in Henichesk, where he stated that his task was to convey the “president’s program” to voters. In February 2024, the suspect acted as “Putin’s representative,” spoke about conveying “orders” from residents of the Kherson region to the Russian president, and praised Putin’s “objectivity” in fulfilling promises to the business and agricultural sectors. He publicly appealed to a Russian official to continue state support for farmers in the “new territories” (i.e., the occupied territories of Ukraine). </span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span>He also appeared in a news segment, introducing himself as the head of a civic association of Koreans in the Kherson region.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>All of Kim’s appearances were recorded on video and publicly posted online. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier, a former computer science teacher from Beryslav in the Kherson region took charge of a school under the occupiers and organized the children’s education according to Russian standards. The woman has been charged with collaborating with the enemy and will stand trial.
