The average salary in the Odesa region in the second quarter of 2026 was over 25,000 hryvnias. Compared to the first quarter, it increased by nearly 2,000 hryvnias.
This was reported by the Main Statistics Office of the Odesa region.
The highest average salary was recorded in the Odesa District— 26,518 hryvnias. In the first quarter, this figure stood at 24,617 hryvnias.
The Rozdilna District ranked second in terms of wages. There, the average salary rose from 20,788 to 23,745 hryvnias.
In the Izmail District, the average salary in the second quarter was 20,129 hryvnias, compared to 18,013 hryvnias in the first quarter.
In the Podilsky District, employees earned an average of 19,974 hryvnias. Over the quarter, the figure rose from 18,326 hryvnias.
In the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District, the average salary was 19,172 hryvnias; in the Bolhrad District, it was 18,330 hryvnias; and in the Berezivskyi District, it was 18,310 hryvnias.
Thus, the highest figure in the second quarter was in the Odesa District, and the lowest was in the Berezivsky District.
The average salary increased the most in percentage terms in the Rozdilna District—by 14.2%. In the Bolhrad district, the increase was 13.4%, in the Berezivka district—11.8%, and in the Izmail district—11.7%.
At the same time, the average salary in the region rose by 8.5% over the quarter—from 23,053 to 25,014 hryvnias.
As previously reported by Intent, the average salary for full-time employees in the construction sector of the Odesa region is 18,610 hryvnias. The region ranks among the top four in Ukraine in terms of the volume of new housing units commissioned.
