The number of people killed in Odesa region during the Russian attack on September 27 has increased

Today, on October 1, a 24-year-old girl died in hospital, bringing the total number of people killed in the Russian attack on the South on September 27 to four.

According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, doctors did their best, but the wounds were too severe.

In the morning, on September 27, the Russian military launched attack drones in the south of Odesa region. Izmail was hit the hardest. The shelling damaged private and apartment buildings, outbuildings, buildings, and cars. Several fires broke out as a result of the attack, which firefighters quickly extinguished. Law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of the Russian terrorist attack. People are being provided with all necessary assistance. According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, the work of the air defense forces was long and intense. However, some drones did cause damage. The attack killed three people: two women aged 90 and 69 and a 73-year-old man.

Later, the Izmail district administration reported that 14 people were injured. In addition, local media reported that a residential building on S. Levchenko (Lomonosov) Street, a two-story apartment building on Topolna Street, two buildings on Prydunayska Street (Nakhimov's formerly known as Nakhimov's Street) and a building on Dobrolyubova Street were damaged.

Earlier on September 26, a 62-year-old woman died as a result of a rocket attack in Odesa district. In addition, the explosions damaged several buildings and cars. Dry grass caught fire, but the fire was quickly extinguished thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers. In the morning, the enemy continued the attack, this time using Shahed-type attack drones. The attack resulted in no casualties and no serious damage to infrastructure. Before that, on September 24, the Russian occupiers fired four X-59/69 guided missiles at the territory of Odesa region, which were launched from the airspace from the Black Sea. Air defense forces managed to shoot down four missiles.
