In October 2026, 409 air raid alerts were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. The average duration of the alert at the regional level was 57 minutes, and at the district level, it was over 44 minutes.
These figures were published by the AirAlarms portal, which tracks air raid alert statistics in Ukraine.
The longest air raid alert in the region began on October 14 at 3:24 p.m. and lasted 12 hours, 5 minutes, and 56 seconds. In the Bashtanka District on the same day, the alert sounded continuously for 11 hours, 12 minutes, and 41 seconds.
Air raid alerts in the Mykolaiv region were most frequently issued on Tuesdays. The most frequent time of day for alerts was between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., with the peak hour at 2:00 p.m.
The last air raid alert recorded in the regional statistics for the selected period began on October 23 at 9:16 p.m. and lasted 29 minutes and 2 seconds. At the district level, the last alert was recorded in the Pervomaiskyi District at 9:34 p.m. on the same day. It lasted 11 minutes and 12 seconds.
Separately, the portal provides OSINT monitoring data regarding reports of explosions. In October, 14 such reports were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. The most recent one was dated October 21 at 12:45 a.m. — it is linked to Pervomaisk.
In addition, two threats of artillery shelling were recorded during the month. The most recent one occurred in Ochakiv on October 16 at 11:28 a.m.
AirAlarms explains that after switching to a district-based system for issuing alerts, they changed the calculation algorithm. If a danger is declared in several districts consecutively or simultaneously, the system combines the continuous alert intervals into a single signal for the entire region. Therefore, 409 represents the number of regional danger periods, taking into account district alerts, rather than simply the sum of all district announcements.
