Experts from the Ministry of Health have taken 112 water samples from rivers and reservoirs within official beach areas in Ukraine, including beaches in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, 23 samples (20.5%) did not meet sanitary standards for microbiological indicators.

In particular, experts from the laboratories of the regional centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) recorded an excess of the LPC index - lactose-positive E. coli.
