The Ministry of Economy has registered a new industrial park in Odesa region

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to include two industrial parks - Medzhybizh Invest Park and Bioindustpark - in the Register of Industrial Parks.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, the initiator plans to invest approximately UAH 185 million in Bioindustpark with additional private financing and funds from participants." is planned to be created on the territory of Zelenohirsk village territorial community of Podil district, Odesa region.

It will cover an area of 11.5 hectares. The project will develop enterprises in the food industry, agro-processing, mechanical engineering, and packaging materials production. The initiator plans to invest approximately UAH 185 million in Bioindustpark with additional private financing and funds from participants.

Industrial parks are special industrial territories, usually with prepared engineering and transportation infrastructure, a set of necessary services, simplified regulatory procedures, and a package of investment incentives for manufacturing and research enterprises. In Ukraine, the development of industrial parks began in 2012, and in May 2022, the Verkhovna Rada granted them tax and customs benefits. In particular, park residents were exempt from VAT and customs duties on imports of new equipment and from income tax for ten years.

According to the YouConrol service, in 2025, a limited liability company called Bioindustpark was registered in Kyiv. The founder was the Kairoks Closed Non-Diversified, Venture, Corporate, Investment Fund, whose ultimate beneficiaries are Pavel Kapelka and Gennady Plyugach from Jurmala, Latvia.

According to the agency, the Register of Industrial Parks currently includes 116 sites. As of the end of 2025, 37 industrial enterprises were built or under construction in industrial parks.

In November 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to include NEXUS Odesa Industrial Park in the Register of Industrial Parks.

In the same year, the Pivdennyi Eco-Industrial Park in Odesa region was officially included in the Register of Industrial Parks of Ukraine. The park was initiated by the Podil City Council, and Eco Solutions LLC was chosen to manage it. The total area of the park was 37.4 hectares.

And in May, they were looking for funding to create the R-33 industrial park in the village of Borshchy, Podil district.
