Government approves creation of an industrial park near Odesa

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to include NEXUS Odesa Industrial Park in the Register of Industrial Parks.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the park was created for a period of 30 years on the territory of the Nerubayska territorial community of Odesa region.

About UAH 60 million of the initiator's own funds, Ecostandard Service Limited Liability Company, are allocated to launch the project in 2025-2028. The total area of the industrial park is 21.6 hectares.

It should be noted that Odesa is also discussing the creation of an industrial park in February, and Volodymyr Oros, head of the Dobro Youth Center DOBRO, explained what it would bring to the city in a live interview with Intent.Insight

"According to the concept, NEXUS Odesa is going to accommodate enterprises in the following areas

The Register of Industrial Parks currently includes 109 sites.

Industrial parks are special industrial territories, usually with prepared engineering and transport infrastructure, a set of necessary services, simplified regulatory procedures, and a package of investment incentives for manufacturing and research enterprises. In Ukraine, the development of industrial parks began in 2012, and in May 2022, the Verkhovna Rada granted them tax and customs benefits. In particular, park residents were exempted from VAT and customs duties on imports of new equipment and from income tax for ten years.

In September, the Pivdennyi Eco-Industrial Park in Odesa region was officially included in the Register of Industrial Parks of Ukraine. The park was initiated by the Podil City Council, and Eco Solutions LLC was chosen to manage it. The total area of the park was 37.4 hectares.

And in May, they were looking for funding to create the R-33 industrial park in the village of Borshchy, Podil district.
