During his working visit to Odesa Oblast, Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Kostyantyn Kovalchuk visited Chornomorsk, Serhiivka, and the new bridge on the Izmail-Kilia-Vylkovo road.

According to the press service of the Ministry, in Chornomorsk, the Deputy Minister was interested in the city's readiness for the heating season.

The level of preparation for the heating season in the city was estimated at about 40%. In Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Kostyantyn Kovalchuk also met with representatives of the local heating company. After that, the Deputy Minister and the head of the Recovery Agency, Serhiy Sukhomlyn, inspected the Kiliya-Izmail bridge, which was put back into operation after the repairs. Before the repair, the detour between these settlements was 140 km, after the opening - only 40 km. The facility, according to the Ministry, cost the budget UAH 160 million, while the starting cost of the project was UAH 220 million.

We inspected the first and second lift stations of the Odesa water supply system and the completion of work to restore a destroyed high-rise building in Serhiivka. The nine-story building was damaged by a missile strike on the village in July 2022. Restoration work started in December 2023. As part of the overhaul, the structures were strengthened, the roof was restored, apartments and utilities were repaired, and shelters were arranged.

Earlier, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa Oblast entered into an agreement with DISK-Pivden Limited Liability Company to pay UAH 21 million 181 thousand without using an electronic system.

In December 2024, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa Oblast selected DISK-Pivden, a private company that had previously restored the building, as the contractor to carry out additional repairs to a nine-story building in Serhiivka damaged by Russians.

The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special conditions, and DISK-Pivden was the only participant. The company expects to receive UAH 45 million 949.2 thousand for the additional repair work.

The nine-story building in Serhiivka, Odesa Oblast, was destroyed on July 1, 2022. Then the Russians fired three X-22 missiles at the village - one of them hit the basement of the house. The explosion completely destroyed the first entrance, while the other two were severely damaged. 105 out of 106 apartments in the nine-story building were destroyed. Reconstruction of the building began on December 1, 2023.
