Russia currently has no plans to carry out similar humanitarian operations following the evacuation of residents from the occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in comments to Russian propagandists, according to Censor.NET.

According to Peskov, Moscow considers the humanitarian operation in Oleshky a success and highly commends the coordination among its participants.

“There are currently no plans or initiatives similar to this humanitarian operation, but in every case, the interests of citizens will come first,” the Kremlin spokesperson said.

As a reminder, the bodies of 47 deceased civilians were transported from the temporarily occupied city of Oleshky to Henichesk. They had been stored in the basements of the local hospital for over half a year.

In turn, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets confirmed that the bodies of deceased residents were removed from the city morgue during the ceasefire. Repatriation efforts were also carried out—the bodies of both military personnel and civilians were collected.

On October 30, a Ukrainian delegation led by Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, arrived in the occupied town of Oleshky in the Kherson region. People who wanted to leave the town for territory controlled by Ukraine were given the opportunity to do so.

On the same day, two convoys departed from Oleshky: one headed for Ukraine, the other for Russia.

According to Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets, the humanitarian mission in Oleshky has now been successfully completed. He noted that the people who arrived in Ukraine are very tired after the difficult journey, but at the same time happy. The Ombudsman said that the evacuees are sharing their experiences, discussing their plans, and talking about what they need right now.
