Given the increased activity of Russian drones on the M-14 Kherson-Mykolaiv highway, traffic on this road will be blocked only in case of an immediate threat. This decision will be made by the military.

According to Yaroslav Shanko, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the situation on the highway is currently under control, and enemy drones do not affect logistics. In particular, buses on the Kherson-Mykolaiv route will not be canceled.

According to Denys Mamontov, commercial director of Central Bus Station LLC, the carriers will continue to operate, but routes may be changed for passenger safety.

Earlier, traffic on the Kherson-Mykolaiv highway was restricted due to attacks by Russian drones. Local residents were urged to refrain from traveling on this route. According to Prokudin, since August 25, there has been high activity of Russian drones on the M-14 Kherson-Mykolaiv highway. The enemy is deliberately attacking civilian transportation, so the authorities are urging citizens not to use this route unless necessary.

The press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration also shared that on the morning of August 26, Russian troops attacked a car on the highway between the villages of Klapaya and Chornobaivka. The attack injured two medical workers - a 47-year-old medical director and a 38-year-old doctor. They received blast injuries, but managed to get to the hospital on their own, where they are currently receiving the necessary assistance.

Russian troops attacked Izmail port with Shaheds. On the night of August 20, Russian troops, continuing their war and invasion of Ukraine, attacked the Izmail region with unmanned aerial vehicles - Shahed kamikaze drones.
