The government has allocated 155 million to the war-affected regions in the south—with the largest share going to Odesa Oblast

Three regions in southern Ukraine—Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson—will receive a total of 155.5 million hryvnias in additional subsidies from the state budget.

This information was published on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Specifically, the government has allocated 2.3 billion hryvnias in additional subsidies among local budgets to support the exercise of local self-government authorities’ powers in de-occupied, temporarily occupied, and other territories that have been negatively affected by Russia’s full-scale aggression.

Among the three southern regions, Odesa Oblast will receive the largest share—104.1 million hryvnias. The funds will be distributed among 19 budgets.

Specifically, 89.5 million hryvnias have been allocated to the Odesa Oblast budget. Among the communities, the largest amounts will go to Velykodolynska—3.8 million hryvnias, Molohivska—2.5 million, Vyhodianska—1.8 million, and Mayakivska—1.1 million hryvnias.

The Kherson region will receive 39.1 million hryvnias, which will be distributed among 17 budgets. Of this amount, 16.7 million hryvnias have been allocated to the budget of the Kherson City Territorial Community, and another 13.2 million to the Novokakhovka Community.

The Mykolaiv region is set to receive 12.3 million hryvnias for nine budgets. The largest amounts will go to the Halytsynivska community—6.8 million hryvnias, the Kutsurubska community —1.9 million, and the Ochakivska community—1.8 million hryvnias.

In total, the government has allocated 2.3 billion hryvnias among 179 local community budgets and five regional budgets.
