Since the beginning of the year, the Russian occupiers have significantly intensified their attacks on Kherson. During this time, the city has already experienced about 1,300 attacks with cannon and rocket artillery.

Yaroslav Shanko, the head of the Kherson MBA, said this during a telethon.

According to him, the enemy is increasingly using rocket artillery. In addition, drone terror has intensified significantly.

"Russians are increasingly using multiple launch rocket systems that pose a threat to civilians. They are intensively shelling the community with drones," said the head of the MBA.

Every week the enemy launches about a thousand drones on the territory of the community. At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces destroy or suppress about 90% of them.

Shanko noted that the tactics of Russian troops remain unchanged. The occupiers continue to attack civilians, including utility workers, rescuers, volunteers and police, using drones.

There has also been an increase in the use of Molniya attack drones. In addition, this week two Shahed drones were shot down over the community's territory.

He also noted that the anti-drone nets installed in the city have proven to be effective and help reduce the risks of drone attacks.

Earlier, the British newspaper The Times published an article about Kherson, in which it pointed out that the city, which once celebrated the liberation from Russian occupation, has now become a testing ground for modern methods of warfare. Russian troops have turned Kherson into an arena of terror, where drones have become the main weapon of intimidation and destruction of civilians.

Intent also wrote about how the Russian army carried out a series of targeted strikes on a civilian medical facility in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The enemy attacked the territory of one of the local hospitals three times using unmanned aerial vehicles.
