The enemy hit a minibus in Kherson: the prosecutor's office showed the consequences

On January 2, a minibus came under another hostile attack in Kherson. Five people were injured in the attack.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to preliminary information, the attack was carried out by the Russian military using artillery and occurred around 10:45 a.m. in the Korabelny district of the city.

Law enforcement is currently investigating the war crime. The Prosecutor's Office of Kherson region, together with investigators, is working to document all the circumstances of this crime committed by the Russian invaders.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, there are three men among the victims. They suffered blast injuries, contusions and shrapnel wounds to their legs. The victims were taken to the hospital. They are currently receiving medical care.

During the first day of the new year, two people were killed and at least six wounded in Kherson region.

On January 1, Russian shelling claimed the life of Pavel Matviyets, a volunteer with the NGO Strong and Free. He was only 23 years old.

The man was helping to deliver household appliances, food and hygiene kits to Kherson residents affected by Russian attacks. Together with the employees of the city military administration, he cleared the rubble and removed construction debris after the shelling.

On the New Year's Eve, the occupiers shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, as a result of which a 46-year-old woman who was inside the building sustained an explosive injury, contusion and shrapnel wounds to her limbs.

In general, the aggressor struck at critical and social infrastructure, residential areas and other objects. In particular, 5 multi-storey buildings, 32 private houses, a cell tower, an outbuilding, a garage and a bus were damaged. Five people were injured, including one child. The shelling covered more than three dozen settlements, including Antonivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Tyahyntsi, Pryozerne, Prydniprovske and many others. The victims are receiving the necessary assistance, and the situation remains under control of local services.
