The attack on Kyiv caused damage in four districts

<span><span><span><span><span><span>According to preliminary reports, three people were injured as a result of the nighttime attack on the capital. Damage has been reported in four districts of the city. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In the Obolon district, a direct hit caused a fire on the second through fifth floors of a 12-story residential building. The fire was extinguished over an area of 80 square meters. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In the Podil district, a strike was recorded on a non-residential building. In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire broke out in an administrative building. In the Desnianskyi district, shelling caused grass to catch fire in an open area covering 2 hectares. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In the Kherson region, according to a report by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the occupiers damaged six high-rise buildings and 14 private homes. Administrative buildings and outbuildings were destroyed. A route taxi, trolleybuses, a garbage truck, and private cars were also damaged.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Three people were killed and 17 others were wounded as a result of Russian attacks in the region.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The day before, in</span></span></span></span></span></span>the Odesa region, an enemy strike caused eight grain-carrying trucks to catch fire. Five trucks were completely destroyed by the fire, and three were damaged. One person died as a result of the shelling. Three others sustained injuries. Dry grass caught fire at the scene.

On August 28, due to Russian attacks,trainsto and from Odesa were delayed by more than eight hours. Ukrzaliznytsia opened its paid waiting rooms free of charge for those waiting for their trains. 

Additionally, rail service betweenMykolaivand Kherson was recently suspended temporarily due to an increased threat of Russian shelling. People were advised to travel by car.
