In the Odesa region, the enemy destroyed trucks carrying grain

<span><span><span><span><span><span>In the Odesa region, an enemy strike caused a fire involving eight trucks carrying grain. Five trucks were completely destroyed by the fire, and three were damaged. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>This was reported by the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>One person was killed as a result of the shelling. Three others were injured. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Dry grass caught fire at the scene.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

On August 28, due to Russian attacks, trains to and from Odesa were delayed by more than eight hours. Ukrzaliznytsia opened its paid waiting rooms free of charge for those waiting for their trains. 

Additionally, rail service betweenMykolaivand Kherson was recently suspended due to an increased threat of Russian shelling. People were advised to travel by car. 

On August 23, in the Odesa region, a Russian attack drone struckthe locomotiveof passenger train No. 147 on the Zhytomyr–Odesa route. Prior to the attack, the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring team issued an evacuation order in advance, and the train was urgently stopped on the tracks.

Also in August in the Odesa region, a targeted strike by a Shahed drone on a passenger train killedthe locomotivecrew on the spot; passengers and the train crew were evacuated. The strike occurred just as the train was pulling into the station to safely evacuate the passengers. The locomotive crew did not have enough time to bring the train to a complete stop and evacuate themselves.
