Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Special Operations Forces, in coordination with members of the Resistance Movement, carried out an operation to destroy a railway bridge spanning the North Crimean Canal in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.

According to military sources, the bridge was located near the village of Rozdolne and was used by Russian troops as a vital logistical artery. The occupiers used it to transport cargo, supplies, and military equipment both from Russia through Crimea to the southern front and between various areas of the occupied peninsula.

On the night of June 22, SSO strike drones delivered precision strikes on the target. As a result of the attack, the railroad tracks were destroyed and one of the bridge spans collapsed.

Afterward, underground operatives of the SSO Resistance Movement observed special railway repair equipment arriving at the damaged bridge. A decision was made to carry out the second phase of the operation.

On the night of June 23, Ukrainian drones attacked the target again. According to the Special Operations Forces, the occupiers’ repair equipment was hit, and the remains of the bridge sustained further damage.

The Special Operations Forces emphasized that they continue to systematically strike at the military logistics of Russian troops, reducing their ability to support their units on the front lines.

Additionally, on the night of June 23, the temporarily occupied Crimea came under another drone attack. Amid reports of explosions, the occupying authorities closed the Crimean Bridge to traffic, and satellite imagery captured several fire hotspots in the Kerch area and at the “Kavkaz” port.

Recently, operatorsfrom the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center struck an oil depot at the Kerch oil terminal, as well as “Kasta-2E2” radar stations near Kurortny and “Nebo-U” in the Kerch area.
