For the second time, the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has failed to sell 68 cardboard boxes of TORAY desalination equipment.

The relevant announcement was published on Prozorro.Sale .

Like the previous one, this auction failed due to the lack of bidders. It was about equipment for the organization and operation of a water desalination plant with a capacity of 11,300 cubic meters per day based on reverse osmosis, which was purchased from Marubeni Corporation (Japan). According to the results of the visual inspection, the actual plastic packaging of the equipment is in an isolated state without damage or tears, but the outer wooden boxes are in an unsatisfactory condition due to long-term storage, which will not allow the transportation of the latter without replacing the packaging.

The equipment was transferred to ARMA based on a decision of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv in 2018. The asset is located on the territory of the Black Sea Logistics Center Limited Liability Company.

After the failure of the first auction, ARMA announced a new one with a starting price of UAH 54 million 832 thousand. The previous starting price was UAH 109 million 664 thousand.

Earlier, the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) failed to sell a total of 1,574 kilograms of methanol in 12 metal barrels of 200 liters each. The methanol was detained by Odesa Customs and handed over to the agency by the Shevchenkivskyi Court of Kyiv in 2024. This is a Russian-made product of OJSC Shchekinoazot (Russian Federation, Tula region, Shchekinsky district, Pervomaisky working settlement), TOMET LLC (Russian Federation, Samara) and Togliattiazot LLC (Russian Federation, Samara region, Togliatti).
