A new wave of looting by Russian security forces has been recorded in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region. According to the Yellow Ribbon resistance movement, the enemy is conducting searches of private homes in Nova Kakhovka and Henichesk. Using the pretext of "searching for weapons caches," the occupiers break down gates and seize civilians' surviving property, including power generators and technical equipment.

This is stated on the movement's page.

To give the looting the appearance of legitimacy, the invaders demand Russian documents for the property, and in their absence declare the property mismanaged and transfer it to their own units.

According to the Yellow Ribbon activists, the intensification of looting is connected with the deterioration of the enemy's logistics and the onset of cold weather - the occupiers are taking away even car batteries en masse. Such raids are often carried out on the instructions of local collaborators who turn in their neighbors. Later, the stolen property is either used by the Russian army personnel or taken out for sale.

Earlier, in Voznesensk, police exposed a 26-year-old man serving a prison sentence on suspicion of online fraud. He posted ads on popular marketplaces for the sale of tractors that did not actually exist. In this way, the offender embezzled almost UAH 100 thousand from gullible buyers.

During the pre-trial investigation, the police found out that the man had been serving a sentence since 2018 and had planned a scheme to make illegal money. He created fake ads for the sale of tractors and posted them on online platforms. The fraudster used his relatives' bank card information to make payments via online banking. The buyers transferred money for the alleged delivery of the equipment, after which the connection with the pseudo-seller was immediately cut off.
