Second Head Appointed to Odesa Department of Physical Education in a Month

The interim mayor of Odesa, Ihor Koval, has appointed Roman Terentyev as the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, the order states that Roman Terentyev will act as the head for the period until the head of the department is appointed.

At the same time, the order appointing Hanna Didenko to this position was revoked . Roman Terentyev's declaration states that he does not own any real estate, but uses his father's 210-square-meter house in the village of Troitske and rents an apartment in Odesa. His wife and daughter also use the house of a citizen Vira Shykker.

He drives a 2012 KIA CEE'D, while his wife owns a 2017 AUDI Q7 and a 2014 BMW 730D. There is no income declared, and Roman Terentyev's savings consist of 75 thousand dollars for him and 40 thousand euros for his wife.

In December 2025, acting Odesa Mayor Ihor Koval dismissed Ruslan Puzdrach from the post of Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council. Ruslan Puzrdach had held this position since 2016. He was born on August 18, 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of History of Mechnikov Odesa State University and the Faculty of Physical Education of the South Ukrainian Pedagogical University named after Ushynskyi.

On December 20, Oleksiy Murin was appointed head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council. For a long time, he worked as the deputy head of the department, organizing mass marathons and sporting events.
