Head of Physical Education Department fired in Odesa

Acting Mayor of Odesa Ihor Koval has dismissed Ruslan Puzdrach from the position of Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council.

The corresponding order was published by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

Ruslan Puzrdach had held this position since 2016. He was born on August 18, 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of History of Mechnikov Odesa State University and the Faculty of Physical Education of the South Ukrainian Pedagogical University named after Ushynsky.

From 2005 to 2015, he worked as a coach of the Ukrainian national shooting team and a boxing coach. Since March 2015, he has been acting as the Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Odesa City Council.

Meanwhile, during a session of the Odesa City Council, deputies supported the candidacy of Alla Bekh for the post of deputy mayor of Odesa.

Currently, acting Mayor Igor Koval has four deputies: first deputy Alexander Filatov, deputies Vladimir Domnitsak and Konstantin Talalayev, and administrator Alexander Tikhovsky. Alla Bekh became the fifth.

Earlier, the acting mayor of Odesa decided to dismiss Valeriy Silin from the post of deputy mayor. The dismissal took place on the basis of the official's personal statement. In addition, the former official is to be paid monetary compensation for 98 calendar days of unused annual leave.

Serhiy Kondratyuk, the head of the Peresypskyi district administration of Odesa, was also recently dismissed. His duties were transferred to the first deputy head, Svyatoslav Glazanovsky.

Also, the interim mayor, Igor Koval, introduced the new head of the Peresypsk District Administration, Yuriy Kushchenko.
