On the night of December 18, long-range drones of the Special Operations Center "A The Security Services of Ukraine conducted a successful attack on the military infrastructure of the Russian Federation in the occupied Crimea. The main target was air defense facilities at the Belbek airfield.

This was reported by the SBU.

As a result of targeted hits, a number of expensive equipment was damaged, the total cost of which reaches hundreds of millions of dollars. In particular, two long-range radar detection systems 'Nebo-SVU' were hit, the price of each of which varies from 60 to 100 million dollars.

Also, the 92H6 radar, which is a key component of the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system, the Pantsyr-S2 air defense missile system, and a MiG-31 fighter jet with a full complement of ammunition were hit. The SBU continues to work on the elimination of Russian air defense systems on the peninsula, which cover strategically important occupants' facilities.

The destruction of elements of this echeloned defense significantly weakens the enemy's military capabilities in the Crimean direction and opens up new opportunities for further demilitarization of the region.

Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine reported the detention of another Russian informant in Mykolaiv region.

The SBU CI detained a 26-year-old unemployed informant in Mykolaiv region who was recruited through Telegram channels under the pretext of looking for work.

The woman spied on the movement of armored vehicles of the Defense Forces, for which she installed disguised smartphones with additional power near local highways, which allowed the enemy to track the movement and number of vehicles in real time. The offender also periodically traveled around the city by taxi to identify the locations of Ukrainian units, and even gained the trust of the defenders by asking them for veiled information.
