The Security Service of Ukraine reported the detention of another Russian informant in Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the SBU.

SBU CI detained in Mykolaiv region a 26-year-old unemployed informant who was recruited through Telegram channels under the pretext of looking for work.

The woman spied on the movement of armored vehicles of the Defense Forces, for which she installed disguised smartphones with additional power near local highways, which allowed the enemy to track the movement and number of vehicles in real time. The attacker also periodically traveled around the city by taxi to identify the locations of Ukrainian units, and even gained the trust of the defenders by asking them for veiled information.

Thanks to this information, the racists planned to carry out combined air strikes using drones, guided bombs and missiles. The SBU exposed and detained the informant, seizing two tablets and four smartphones with evidence of coordination, and investigators served her a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Earlier, a nurse from Kherson was finally confirmed in a life sentence. During the occupation of the city, she passed information about the military and the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to the FSB.

The decision states that the defense counsel's cassation appeal was dismissed, and the verdict of the Kherson Court of Appeal of July 23, 2025 was upheld.

The investigation found that the nurse, working in a city hospital, collected personal data of Ukrainian defense lawyers during the preparation of medical documents and procedures. She used a messenger to pass on information about wounded soldiers, as well as information about the location, weapons and movement of the Armed Forces and other defense forces to an FSB representative. The enemy used this data to launch rocket and artillery attacks in the Kherson direction.
