On the Ai-Petri plateau near Yalta, massive development of territories that were originally planned to be used for the development of skiing was recorded. Instead of sports infrastructure, the plateau's land is actually being transferred to private facilities.
This was reported by the National Resistance Center on Telegram.
Most of these facilities belong to current and former officials of the occupation administration, their relatives or business partners.
The development scheme envisaged the use of sports facilities only as a cover for actual construction with the subsequent legalization of the facilities. Although the occupation authorities issued resolutions to demolish the illegal facilities within five days after the publicity, more than 100 days have passed since the publication of these decisions, but not a single facility has been dismantled.
According to the Center of National Resistance, the delay in the process is a deliberate step aimed at further changing the designated purpose of the land and legalizing the buildings. The actual beneficiary of the scheme is the occupation administration of Yalta, which has no plans to return the plots to public use. Such an approach not only hinders the development of sports on the peninsula, but also effectively blocks citizens' access to the protected areas of the Crimean Mountains.
Earlier it became known that the Russians destroyed a large Ukrainian landing ship 'Konstantin Olshansky' in Crimea, which was captured in 2014.
The ship was sent for repair to the occupiers' shipyard, but its condition raises big questions. Only the hull without doors and equipment remained, and all the systems necessary for the fleet's functioning were taken away or looted.
After the occupation, the ship was used as a donor of repair parts for similar Russian ships. It is assumed that this may be part of the practice of using the Ukrainian fleet to support the occupiers.
In March 2024, the Defense Forces attacked this ship, indicating an attempt to regain control of the Ukrainian navy in the region. In the future, we should expect the conflict over military assets on the peninsula to continue.
