Russian Shelling in Kherson: 2 Civilians Killed, Extensive Damage

Over the past day, February 13, the occupants shelled 39 localities in Kherson region. Enemy attacks claimed the lives of two civilians.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, residential areas and social infrastructure of Stanislav, Bilozerka, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Tomyna Balka, Sofiyivka, Rozlyv, Mykilske, Ponyativka, Beryslav and more than 30 villages and towns, including the regional center, came under fire.

The attacks damaged three multi-storey buildings, 14 private houses and several cars.
Two civilians were killed and five others were injured by Russian shelling.

The prosecutor's office added that they had launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes (Part 1, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, Russian troops attacked the region more than 30 times, using artillery and drones, including FPV.

At about 16:30 in Kherson, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone on a civilian car. The attack killed a 62-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman.

At 04:30 am, artillery shelling damaged a high-rise building in Kherson. A 48-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries, and a 55-year-old woman received medical aid on the spot.

In total, more than 20 civilian objects were damaged, including residential buildings and cars.

On February 12, the invaders attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Korabelny district of Kherson, injuring a 24-year-old man. He sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and a shrapnel wound to his arm, the Kherson MVA reported.

In the first month of 2025, more than twelve thousand enemy shells "flew" to the Kherson region. January 2025 was a tragic month for Kherson, as the city lost 16 of its residents during that month.

Meanwhile, local businessman Viktor Khodykin will be paying UAH 3 million to close windows and repair roofing after shelling at facilities owned by the city council.
