Russian military continues drone "safari" on civilians in Kherson region: 4 people killed

During the day, Russian troops attacked 29 settlements in the Kherson region, striking at residential areas and infrastructure. As a result of the shelling, four people were killed, five others were wounded, and dozens of houses and a gas pipeline were destroyed.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said.

Dozens of settlements in the Kherson region came under enemy fire over the course of June 23-24. In particular, Russian troops attacked Beryslav, Stanislav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Tyahynka, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson.

The occupiers hit critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. As a result of the attacks, 4 private houses were damaged. The occupiers also vandalized a shop and private cars. As a result of the Russian aggression, 4 people were killed and 5 others were injured.

At approximately 06:40, Russians attacked a man in Kherson with a drone. The 48-year-old Kherson resident sustained explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to his head and leg as a result of the drone's explosive drop. Later it became known that the man died in hospital.

"Doctors fought desperately for the victim's life, but his injuries proved fatal," said Prokudin.

In the morning, a local resident was hit by a Russian UAV in Antonivka . The 35-year-old man sustained explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to his legs, arms, chest and face. Another resident of Kherson was injured by a Russian drone attack. Around 07:00, the enemy attacked a 60-year-old man with a UAV in the Korabelny district. He sustained an explosive injury, contusion and shrapnel wound to his leg.

In the evening, Russian occupation forces attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and shrapnel wounds to his face, shoulder, and chest.

In addition, two residents of Bilozerka, who suffered from Russian shelling on June 20, and a resident of Kherson, were admitted to the hospital. A 44-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were diagnosed with contusions, explosive and closed head injuries, and a 33-year-old man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and contusion.

It also became known that two residents of Kherson were killed by Russian shelling on June 12 and 16. On June 12, Russians attacked a 69-year-old man in Antonivka with a drone. He sustained injuries incompatible with life. And in one of the houses in the Dniprovsky district of the city, the body of a 62-year-old man was found who had sustained fatal injuries as a result of an enemy attack on June 16.
