Russian dagger hits port in Mykolaiv

On the morning of June 3, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Mykolaiv.

According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, the attack was carried out by a Kinzhal air defense missile.

"As of now, there are no calls for emergency services. Dagger, no casualties! I won't give you a photo, but everything is fine," wrote the head of the OVA.

Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, said that one of Mykolaiv's ports was hit.

"The enemy attacked the territory of one of the ports, civilian infrastructure. There were no casualties. It is difficult to explain the purpose of the strikes on the ports of Mykolaiv region, which have been blocked since the beginning of the full-scale invasion," said Pletenchuk.

Earlier, on May 29 at 10:05 a.m., Russian troops allegedly attacked the Gorokhiv community with an Iskander-M ballistic missile. Four people were injured in the attack. One of the wounded, a 40-year-old man, died during transportation to the hospital. Three others were taken to a medical facility in Mykolaiv, their condition is stable and serious. The shelling also damaged a granary, a hangar and a tractor of a local farm.

In addition, on the night of May 28, <span>an FPV kamikaze drone hit the Halytsynivka community: in the village of Lupareve, a 7-year-old girl was injured by the fragments and treated on the spot. The explosion damaged two private houses and three cars.</span>

Also, a 41-year-old man died in hospital as a result of a Russian missile strike on the port of Odesa, making him the third victim of the attack. Before that, another victim, a 71-year-old man, died in the hospital. Then, on May 23, Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles at the port infrastructure of Odesa. The attack killed a port worker. Eight other people were injured: four in serious condition, two in moderate condition, and two with minor injuries.
