Russian Air Strikes in Kherson Kill 2, Injure 6 - Regional Update

Yesterday, March 12, Russian troops conducted 10 air strikes with guided missiles in Kherson region. Two people were killed and 6 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops shelled the central part of Kherson with artillery at night.

"A 42-year-old woman sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the enemy attack," the official said.

In general, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Veletynske, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Shyroka Balka, Poniativka, Beryslav, Chervonyi Yar, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Ukrayinka, Novoberislav, Tyahyntsi, and Burgunka came under hostile fire and air strikes, Prydniprovske, Naddnipryanske, Inzhenerne, Kizomys, Novoraysk, Velezenske, Vesele, Dniprovske, Zmiivka, Ivanivka, Kostyrka, Lvov, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Novovorontsovka, Novotyanka, Odradokamyanka, Olgivka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Tomaryne, and the city of Kherson.

According to preliminary information from the prosecutor's office, apartment buildings and private houses in Kherson were damaged by the bombs. On March 13, at about 06:00, the occupiers once again dropped explosives from a drone on a civilian car, injuring a 60-year-old man.

The day before, on March 11, two people were killed and seven others were injured, including two children, as a result of enemy attacks on the region. Also, in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, Russians dropped explosives from a UAV on two teenagers.

In total, 229 children have been injured since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion in Kherson region. Of these, 39 were killed and 190 sustained injuries of varying severity. This happened due to numerous war crimes that were recorded by the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. In total, more than a thousand criminal proceedings have been registered, of which 294 relate to crimes directly against children.
