Three large-scale tenders for road repairs and maintenance worth almost UAH 800 million have been announced in Kherson Oblast. The most expensive of them - over 400 million - concerns the roads of Beryslav district.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro procurement system.

Three large-scale tenders for road maintenance and repair with a total expected value of almost UAH 800 million have been announced in Kherson region. The customers are the Regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service and the state institution LocalRoads of Kherson Region.

On October 13, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service announced two tenders:

Bids will be accepted until October 22, with auctions to be held on the same day. The winner must complete the work by April 30, 2027.

The bid security amounts to over UAH 14.2 million for the Beryslav tender and UAH 5.9 million for the Kherson tender. The contract performance security is provided in the amount of 5% of the contract value. The source of funding is the state budget.

In addition, the state institution Local Roads of Kherson Region announced a tender for the maintenance of the Skhidne-Zahoryanivka road with an expected cost of over UAH 115 million. The auction is scheduled for October 20, and the selected contractor must complete the work by December 31, 2025.

All three procurements provide for a 30% advance payment and a 70% post-payment after the work is completed.

The Centerfor Public Investigations also reported that the state institution "Local Roads of Kherson Region" announced an open tender for the current repair of the road. The area of work covers a stretch from the border of Dnipropetrovska oblast to the border of Mykolaivska oblast, with a total length of 5.5 kilometers. The expected cost of the repairs is UAH 83 million, and they are expected to be completed by December 31, 2025.

In July, Paritetbudinvest LLC, which is associated with Odesa political circles, was awarded the contract to repair the Skhidne-Zahoryanivka highway. The company has already been involved in journalistic investigations and criminal proceedings related to embezzlement and abuse. The founders of the company are Artem Sobolev from Vinnytsia and Arkadiy Ilyashchuk, who used to be an assistant to a deputy of the Odesa City Council, a former associate of former mayor Trukhanov.
