The investigation against the so-called "head" of the occupation ministry's department has been completed.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment against a local resident on the fact of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was sent to court. He faces five to ten years in prison.

The investigation established that in 2022, the accused headed the so-called "Department of Labor and Social Policy" of the Kherson City District, which was part of the occupation "Ministry of Labor and Social Policy". In his pseudo-position, he organized the activities of the "department" and its subordinate employees, took measures to provide material resources, and received citizens for consultations.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, indictments were sent to court against a deputy of the Skadovsk City Council and a resident of the region. They are accused of voluntarily holding positions in illegal authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory, in particular in the occupation administration of the aggressor state (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation established that in 2022, the 43-year-old deputy betrayed the interests of the community and became the "deputy" head of the occupation administration of Skadovsk. She organized the educational process according to Russian standards, participated in public events in support of the aggressor country, etc. The second defendant is a 46-year-old resident of the village of Shyroke, Skadovsk district. He voluntarily collaborated with the enemy and headed the local occupation administration.
