Renovation of a high-rise building in Izmail for 5 million was given to the MP's firm

The Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council in Odesa Oblast has awarded another contract without a tender to restore a damaged building as a result of the Russian attack on Izmail.

As Int' l's correspondent found out from the Prozorro electronic procurement system, the contractor was Rodnik, a private enterprise owned by Izmail City Council member Ihor Dekhtyarev.

The contract is for UAH 5.1 million to repair a five-story building in the Kopana Balka neighborhood. According to the technical documentation, three apartments will be renovated in an apartment building at 212 Prydunayska Street in Izmail.

In particular, it is planned to dismantle the damaged suspended ceilings, install plasterboard ceilings with subsequent plastering and installation of baguettes. It is also planned to restore the walls.

In one of the destroyed apartments, it is planned to dismantle the damaged brickwork and build new exterior and interior walls with reinforcement and installation of anchors. To restore the floor, the workers plan to dismantle old wooden flooring, logs, linoleum and skirting boards, then insulate the floors with mineral wool and lay new linoleum. Interior and entrance doors will be replaced.

A separate set of works concerns electrical installation: dismantling old lamps, switches and sockets, laying new hidden wiring, installing sockets, switches and ceiling lights.

Old air conditioners will be dismantled and new ones installed, gas and heating systems will be repaired, and electric radiators will be installed.

According to the signed contract, Rodnik is to complete the entire complex of works by November 27 this year. The funding is provided by the city's program for the urgent restoration of housing damaged by the Russian attack.

Preparation of a report on the results of the inspection of the technical condition of the building's load-bearing and enclosing structures costs another 33 thousand hryvnias.

On the night of May 16, the enemy launched a drone attack on Izmail. In addition to the high-rise building at 212 Prydunayska Street, the port infrastructure, private residential buildings, cars, a gymnasium and the outpatient clinic of the Izmail City Primary Health Care Center were damaged. One person was injured.
