At the end of July, members of the Mykolaiv City Council will convene for a regular session, during which they are expected to adopt a series of resolutions concerning municipal property, land issues, city programs, and support for military personnel.

On Thursday, July 30, at 11:00 a.m., the Mykolaiv City Council will hold its regular session. Council members will consider a range of issues covering the management of municipal property, land relations, changes to city programs, tax policy, and the operations of municipal enterprises.
One of the main items on the agenda will be the issue of small-scale privatization of municipal property. Council members will be asked to adopt a resolution to halt the privatization of certain properties, as well as to make several changes and additions to the list of properties approved in March 2026 that are subject to sale by auction.
The City Council will also consider a draft amendment to the resolution on the establishment of local taxes and fees, which has been in effect in Mykolaiv since 2011.
The land agenda includes a proposal to refuse to classify certain land plots as naturally forested, as well as a proposal to create a new public park on a plot of land near building No. 63 at 9 Slobidska Street in the Ingulsky District.
The council plans to consider increasing the authorized capital of the municipal enterprise “Mykolaiv Parks” and approving the revised version of the enterprise’s charter. Amendments to the National-Patriotic Education Program for 2025–2027 and the Digital Transformation Program of the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community for 2026–2028 were also added to the agenda.
In addition, council members are expected to approve the Program for Improving Fire and Technological Safety in Multi-Unit Residential Buildings for 2027–2029.
In particular, the city council plans to appeal to the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada, and the Cabinet of Ministers, calling for an immediate review of the approach to financial and social support for military personnel. Council members will also consider an appeal to the government regarding the operation of the automated system for recording administrative violations in the field of road safety.
At an extraordinary session in early July, council members considered amendments to the city council’s resolution of December 30, 2025, “On the Budget of the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community for 2026” and on granting consent to transfer state-owned property to municipal ownership.
