Unidentified persons wearing military uniforms and holding certificates of the Prymorskyi District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support attacked a serviceman undergoing treatment in Odesa, using gas against him.
This was reported by an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Gramarchuk, known by the call sign "Grom".
He noted that it happened in the Prymorsky district of Odesa. One of them showed a military ID and a service certificate of a serviceman of the Primorsky RTC and JV of Odesa, another showed a military ID, and the rest had IDs of some volunteer public association.
"During the conversation, a group of people resorted to humiliating the serviceman, calling him a rear rat ("rear rat") in Russian, and when he showed his military ID, it was snatched from his hands with the cover damaged. I would like to note that the soldier is on medical leave for rehabilitation," said Mr. Grom.
At the end of the conflict, a person with an NGO ID used pepper spray, which resulted in physical injuries to the soldier, and the attackers themselves fled in two cars.

In its turn, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support replied that it was checking the information.
"The management of the Odesa Regional TCC and SP is carefully studying the information disseminated on social media regarding the shameful attack on an active serviceman in the Prymorskyi district of Odesa. An urgent investigation has been initiated to establish all the circumstances and identify the persons involved. It is being investigated whether the persons mentioned in the publications are related to the military personnel of the TCC and the JV. Information about the possible participation of unauthorized persons in the incident who could have been presented as members of "volunteer formations" is also being checked," the regional TCC said.
However, Oleksandr Hrom was not satisfied with this answer and demanded that the regional TCC provide him with the names of the attackers and the numbers of proceedings in the unified register of pre-trial investigations, which, in his opinion, should be initiated immediately.
Last year, the Center for Public Investigations published a series of publications about volunteer groups with which the police and the TCC cooperate and found out that some of them were funded from the budget. Then the journalists of the Center for Public Integrity turned to the Main Department of the National Police in Odesa Oblast with a question: which organizations are currently protecting public order in the region together with law enforcement officers. As a result, they received a list of 36 organizations.
