The Ovidiopol District Court of Odesa Region approved an agreement between the prosecutor and one of the participants in the attack on the alert groups of the territorial center for equipment and social support at the 7 Kilometer market in October 2025.

As stated in the court' s verdict, the agreement stipulated that the man would plead guilty and receive a five-year prison sentence, which would be replaced by three years of probation for obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

On October 30, two alert groups arrived at the market in two cars in a convoy, one after the other. When they arrived at the market, the convoy was blocked by a local businesswoman who had already been convicted in a separate case. The woman stood in the way of the notification groups and did not let them pass. Meanwhile, unidentified people armed with sticks and pieces of pipes approached, surrounded the warning groups and attacked them. One of the alert groups managed to break out of the encirclement, while the other was completely blocked. The court materials indicate that the military did not use force in response and tried to avoid escalation in order not to endanger people.

As a result of the incident, a service vehicle was damaged, and there were injuries among the military. Eyewitnesses reported that the conflict between the workers of the warehouses on Bazova Street and the SEC began at 5:50 a.m. near the asphalt plant, when the market was still closed. At first, it was a verbal argument, which later escalated into a fight and ended with a car overturning at the corner of Bazovyi lane and Bazova street. The outraged loaders took the detained man from the bus and fled. All the events were recorded on the body cameras of the servicemen and handed over to the investigation.
