One wounded after attack on power facility in Mykolaiv region

As of the morning of April 23, Ukraine's power system continues to suffer the consequences of Russian shelling. Some consumers in several regions are temporarily left without electricity.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

The largest number of outages was recorded in Dnipropetrovs'k, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Kherson and Kharkiv regions. At the same time, power engineers are working in an emergency mode to restore electricity supply as soon as possible. Repair teams are working around the clock.

Special attention is being paid to the situation in Mykolaiv region. One of our employees was injured in an enemy attack on a power facility there. He received the necessary medical care.

Despite the difficult situation, no power supply restrictions are expected today. At the same time, residents are urged to use electricity sparingly, especially in the evening from 18:00 to 22:00, to reduce the load on the system.

As a reminder, on the morning of April 16, Russian troops attacked the energy infrastructure of Mykolaiv region, which led to large-scale power outages.

Earlier, Intent wrote that on March 18, hourly blackouts were introduced in Mykolaiv amid an emergency in the power system.

The morning attack of Russian troops on Mykolaiv on February 22 damaged energy infrastructure facilities. The occupiers used Shahed attack drones, which led to large-scale blackouts in the city.

According to preliminary data, about 16,000 customers were left without electricity. Work is currently underway to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore power. It also became known that the energy sector of Kherson region will receive 1 million euros of financial assistance from the German region of Schleswig-Holstein. The grant funds will be used to technically strengthen the power system and eliminate the consequences of damage.
