Over the past day, Russian invaders attacked 40 settlements in Kherson region.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, residential areas, critical and social infrastructure were hit. At least 2 high-rise buildings, 14 private houses, a car wash, a garage and several cars were damaged. One person died as a result of the shelling, three others sustained injuries of varying severity.

The following localities came under enemy fire: Antonivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Mykilske, Poniativka, Beryslav, Novoraysk, Stanislav, Tomina Balka, Shyroka Balka, Osokorivka, Novovorontsovka, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Veletynske, Kizomys, Tyahyntsi, Mykolayivka, Lvov, Monastyrske, Mykhailivka, Tokarivka, Novotyanka, Oleksandrivka, Virivka, Ivanivka, Sadove, Zymivnyk, Blahovishchenske, Pryozerne, Molodizhne, Burgunka, Zelenivka, Yantarne, Sablukivka, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Prydniprovske, Vesele, Olhivka, Zamozhne and Kherson.

Last week, the Ukrainian Defense Forces thwarted the plans of Russian occupants to land sabotage and reconnaissance groups near Kherson in the right-bank part of Kherson region. On that day, Kherson suffered the largest shelling since 2022. The explosions did not stop from four in the morning. Russian troops fired from all types of weapons available to them, firing more than 1,000 shells. There is not a single neighborhood that was not affected.

Most of the strikes hit residential areas. Rescuers extinguished more than a dozen fires. Medics, law enforcement and utility workers were on the scene.

At the same time, pro-Russian telegram channels were actively spreading fake reports about the alleged forced evacuation of Kherson residents. However, this information was untrue and aimed at creating panic among the population.

The head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim assured of his readiness to help Kherson residents if necessary.
