Massive shelling of Kherson and enemy subversive reconnaissance groups: first details from OVA

On the morning of December 20, Russian occupants launched a massive attack on Kherson, shelling residential areas, critical and social infrastructure.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

"Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups tried to break through in the direction of Kherson, but were promptly detected and destroyed by our defenders," Prokudin said.

He also warned that the tense situation in the region would continue over the holidays. The head of the JFO urged residents to avoid staying outside unless necessary.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, the number of casualties increased to six, including one dead, as a result of the morning shelling of Kherson by Russian troops.

One of the victims, a 55-year-old woman from Kherson's central district, was taken to hospital with mine-blast and closed head injuries, as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to her leg. She is currently being examined.

Additionally, it became known about one more wounded. Thus, an 86-year-old man was hospitalized with contusion, blast and closed head injury, as well as shrapnel wounds.

A 42-year-old man was also hospitalized with concussion and a mine-blast injury.
Unfortunately, a 60-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries while inside the building.
