Oleksandr Sikora Elected New Chairman of Velyko Oleksandrivskyi Court

Personnel changes have taken place in the Velyko Oleksandrivskyi District Court of Kherson Region. Oleksandr Sikora became the new chairman of the court. He was elected by secret ballot.

Oleksandr Sikora has been a judge of the Velyko Oleksandrivskyi District Court since 2013. In 2022, he was temporarily seconded to the Babushkinsky District Court of Dnipro, and after the court resumed its work in June 2023, he returned to Velyka Oleksandrivka.

According to his 2023 declaration, Oleksandr Sikora owns two apartments in Kherson, purchased in 2012 and 2022. His family also rents housing in Velyka Oleksandrivka and Odesa.

In 2023, the judge received:

• UAH 629,902 - salary in the Territorial Department of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine in Kherson region
• UAH 500,811 - salary in the SJA of Dnipropetrovs'k region
• 2,400 UAH - social benefits

His wife Olga Sikora earned:

• UAH 118,966 - entrepreneurial activity
• 26 640 UAH - assistance from Caritas Ukraine
• 65,200 UAH - charitable assistance from Caritas-spes-Odesa
• 96,000 UAH - social benefits

The family also owns a Ford Focus (2022 ) and a JEEP CHEROKEE (2021).

Recently, the deputy commandant of Kherson region and his two accomplices were accused of torturing civilians in the basement of the court during the occupation of the city.

The case of Major General <b>Mykhailo Kalupin </b>, commander of the 50th Separate Operational Brigade of the Russian Guard, was also brought to court <b>. </b>He headed the operational command group of the 50th Brigade, which consisted of at least six tactical groups. These units conducted active hostilities in the Kherson region, using military equipment and weapons, which led to numerous civilian casualties, including children.

The SBU also served a notice of suspicion to a Russian general and his subordinates who tortured an ATO veteran during the occupation of Kherson.
