The "TSUM" shopping center in Odessa, which is part of the assets of UkrbudspetstechLLC, has been put up for sale for 399,441,000 hryvnias. The auction is scheduled for August 20.

This information has been published on the Pozoro.Prozali system.

The company’s assets were put up for auction byarbitration manager Tetyana Kolmykova in accordancewith the requirements of bankruptcy law. The shopping center is currently managed by the company “Nova-Khvylia.”

The property up for sale includes the main department store building, a canopy, a walkway, a water tank, a control room, a training workshop, a warehouse, and two electrical workshops. The total area of the property is 12,477.8 square meters.

The Odessa Central Department Store building was long part of the asset portfolio of businessman and former People’s Deputy Leonid Klimov through companies affiliated with him and the now-bankrupt “Imexbank.” Due to debts owed to the state and the bank’s liquidation, the department store was added to the Deposit Guarantee Fund’s list of collateralized assets.

Leonid Klimov is a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament, a member of the “Economic Development” faction, and chairman of the Subcommittee on Monetary Policy, Currency Regulation, and Interaction with the National Bank of Ukraine of the Committee on Finance and Banking (since December 2012); a member of the Political Council of the Party of Regions; and chairman of the Odesa Regional Organization of the Party of Regions.

Previously, an auction tosell the “Novy Pryvoz” shopping center—which is also owned by Ukrbudspetstekh LLC—failed due to a lack of bidders.

According to the YouControl service, “Ukrbudspetstekh” LLC was registered in 2002; its founders included PJSC “FC Chornomorets” and the owner of the bankrupt “Imexbank,” former People’s Deputy Leonid Klimov.
