A multimillion-dollar tender for a veterans' hospital has been announced in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, there are plans to carry out a major renovation of the third floor of the rehabilitation ward at the Regional Clinical Hospital for War Veterans. More than 3.2 million hryvnias from the local budget have been allocated for the work. The Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction, and Development Project Support of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration has announced a corresponding tender.

The project involves a major renovation of the third floor of the rehabilitation ward at the municipal nonprofit enterprise “Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital for War Veterans,” located at 1 Kyivska Street in Mykolaiv.

The estimated cost of the procurement is 3,217,060 hryvnias, excluding VAT. The documentation also states that the work will be funded from the local budget under the specialized inpatient medical care program, with total funding amounting to 3,860,472 hryvnias.

The contracting authority is the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction, and Development Project Support of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. The tender was announced on July 20. Participants may submit bids until August 4, and the electronic auction is scheduled for the same day. The winner will be determined based on a single criterion: the lowest price.

According to the tender documentation, the contractor must complete the major renovation by December 31, 2026. The draft contract stipulates that the work will be performed in accordance with the design and cost estimate documentation, and the warranty for the main structural elements will be valid for 10 years after the facility is put into operation.

The documentation also specifies requirements for potential bidders. In particular, they must demonstrate that they have employees with the appropriate qualifications, experience in executing similar contracts for major repairs, reconstruction, or new construction, as well as financial capacity based on their performance in 2025.
