Specialists of DTEK Odesa Power Grids decided to temporarily cut off power to the Arcadia neighborhood in Odesa on May 19.

This was reported by the company's press service.

They noted that the blackout was due to scheduled maintenance of the networks. There will be no electricity in the area from 8:00 to 18:00, but in case of an air alert, electricians will not work and this may make the repair of the electricity grid longer.

In addition to Arcadia, short-term (up to 1 hour) power outages are possible in Kyivskyi district of Odesa.

The company noted that over the past week, from May 11 to May 17, they had restored electricity to almost 40,000 families in the Odesa region after enemy attacks.

In April, residents of a part of the Peresypskyi district of Odesa were left without electricity supply on April 12 due to an accident. It was the second accident to affect this area of the city in the last two days. On April 11, at 17:09, part of the Odesa district of the region was left without electricity. There may be interruptions in the operation of critical infrastructure. These were Khadzhybey and Peresypsky districts of the city. Earlier, as a result of a nighttime Russian attack on Odesa, 130,200 consumers in Odesa and the south of the region were left without electricity, but as of 3 p.m. on April 11, the supply was restored.

On April 6, almost 20,000 families were left without electricity as a result of a nighttime Russian attack on Odesa. On the night of March 29, the Russian army struck again at the civilian and energy infrastructure of Odesa region, leaving more than 100,000 families without electricity.

On March 4, power engineers carried out urgent repairs to power equipment. During this period, Odesa district of the region and part of the city of Odesa were temporarily cut off from electricity.
