The head of logistics of the Naval Intelligence Center of the Navy was served a notice of suspicion of abuse of influence and bribery.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.

Investigators said that in May 2025, the suspect demanded an undue benefit from a serviceman in the amount of $350. In return, he promised to influence authorized persons of military counterintelligence in order to evade criminal liability for the loss of military property.

On May 14, after receiving the agreed amount of bribe, the chief of logistics was detained by law enforcement officers. He has now been chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention with an alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 240,000.

If proven guilty, the military officer faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.

Earlier, Iryna Chervynska , a court clerk from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City District Court, pleaded guilty to participating in a corruption scheme exposed by the NABU. It was an attempt to bribe a judge: back in June 2024, Chervynska tried to transfer $2,000 in a case to determine the place of residence of children.

Also, the State Bureau of Investigation completed a pre-trial investigation against a law enforcement official from Odesa who organized a scheme to illegally depart men of military age abroad.

Prior to that, SBI officers jointly with the Security Service of Ukraine served the law enforcement officer a notice of suspicion that he had promised the men to remove them from the military service wanted list in exchange for money.
