The Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater has conducted a procurement to select a generator supplier.

The announcement was published in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

The procurement was conducted in the "request for proposal" format

The procurement was conducted in the format of "request for proposal (price)", which is a procurement method through Prozorro Market that can be used by the customer to determine the best price.

The procedure may seem similar to open bidding in terms of stages, but there are some peculiarities:

The customer announces a request for a product of a certain category, and then the system sends notifications to all suppliers who are accredited in it.

If a supplier already has a product in the catalog, he can

The supplier can either accept the offer or ignore it. If the supplier decides to respond to the request, in this case, in the "Registration of offers" block, it is necessary to indicate its price (it may be lower than the customer's price in his request) and select the product.

The only participant was an individual, entrepreneur Lyudmyla Savkiv from Ivano-Frankivsk. The theater expects to receive the generator by December 25, 2025, and will pay UAH 1.5 million for it.

It is a stationary diesel generator with a rated capacity of 240 kilowatts, a four-stroke engine and three phases.
