Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has ordered the creation of a working group to prepare terms of reference for the development of the Concept for the Development of Bicycle Infrastructure in Odesa.

The relevant order was published by the municipality's press service.

The working group is to complete its task by July 1. Its creation is stipulated by the decision of the city council, which was adopted in 2019 when the city program "Road Safety in Odesa" for 2020-2025 was created.

The group will consist of 13 people, six of whom must work there:

The other members of the group, by agreement, may be deputies from three factions in the city council: European Solidarity, Trust the Deeds, and Servant of the People, which are expected to be: Petro Obukhov, Oleh Etnarovych and Andriy Sharashidze, respectively. Andrii Sharashidze and Petro Obukhov are members of the city council's permanent deputy commission on transport and road facilities.

It is also planned to involve representatives of public organizations related to cycling.
