The previous meeting of the executive committee was held on May 28. It considered dozens of decisions affecting the life of the city during the war. The meeting was focused on financial reporting, maintaining energy independence and helping the victims and IDPs. One of the key issues will be the report on the implementation of the budget of the Odesa city territorial community for the first quarter of 2026, which is to be submitted to the city council.

On May 18, the executive committee was convened for an extraordinary meeting due to amendments to the decision of June 19, 2025 "On Determining the Need of the Territorial Community of Odesa in the Fund of Civil Defense Facilities."

After amending the decision, it was determined that during the special period, Odesa needs 70 protective shelters of class A-IV. These structures must be able to withstand a shock wave and protect against radiation exposure. In addition, the city needs 3,626 radiation protection shelters and 124 more mobile shelters for the public.
