The city of Artsyz, Odesa Oblast, has signed a contract with a contractor for the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities. The budget for the work was set at almost UAH 80 million.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.
The procurement for the reconstruction of full biological sewage treatment facilities was announced by the Artsyz City Council in August.
In September, an auction was held in the format of open bidding with special features. Only one participant, Cortakoz Limited Liability Company, was present and offered to carry out the reconstruction for UAH 79 million 877 thousand. This company became the winner. The city council signed an agreement with it on October 10.
According to the tender documents, the contractor is to install the latest treatment systems. These include aeration tanks, filters and biological reactors for effective wastewater treatment.
In addition, the contractor will have to completely reconstruct outdated pipelines, pumping stations and storage tanks for treated water. It is also planned to install an automated control system.
All works are to be completed by August 31, 2026.
The facilities themselves are located in the village of Dolynivka, Bolhradskyi district.
According to the youcontrol analytical system, Cortakoz Limited Liability Company was registered in 1993 in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region. One of the owners is Andrii Moshanetskyi.
Meanwhile, in the village of Chornomorske, Odesa Oblast, they are trying to build a new family medicine outpatient clinic for more than UAH 50 million in the third attempt. The first and second tenders were canceled.
In addition, in the village of Dachne, Odesa region, they planned to build a new radiation shelter in a school that was seriously damaged by the occupiers' missile attacks. The budget for the work was set at over UAH 117 million.
