Employees of the contractor, Pylon West Limited Liability Company, have completed the restoration of a residential building that was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation on January 1, 2024.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa municipality.

The roof was damaged in an apartment building at 54 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, which led to the inoperability of the elevator, heating and water supply systems, as communications passed through the roof.

In August 2024, the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council entered into an agreement with Pilon West Limited Liability Company to restore an apartment building at 54 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, which was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

The procurement was conducted for the second time and for the second time in the format of "procurement without the use of an electronic system". The first attempt was made to conduct the procurement in the format of an open tender with special features, but there were no bidders.

According to the agreement, Pylon West LLC was supposed to complete the repairs by December 31 and receive UAH 4 million 150.9 thousand for it. However, later the customer and the contractor entered into an additional agreement, according to which the amount of the contract was reduced by UAH 1 million 625.7 thousand. Thus, the company received UAH 2 million 525.1 thousand from the municipality.

According to the YouControl service, Pylon West LLC was registered in Odesa in 2008. The owners are residents of Odesa - Vyacheslav Petkov and Vyacheslav Vasiliev.

Back in January 2024, the Odesa City Council approved amendments to the Odesa Housing Development Program for 2022-2026, which provide for the allocation of funds to restore buildings damaged during Russian attacks. In particular, the money was allocated for the restoration of residential buildings on Vysotskyi Descent, 1 Vysotskyi Street, 1 Kanatna Street, 8 Apollo Skalkovskyi Street, 54 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, and 24 Serednyi Street.

Thebuilding at 54 Zabolotnoho Street was damaged in a drone attack in Odesa on January 1. Then, on New Year's Eve 2024, the enemy used a record number of Shahed-type strike drones.
